3 Steps to Identify Members’ Strengths
Each member brings unique skills and experiences that contribute to your team’s success. As a leader, recognizing and leveraging these strengths fosters engagement and motivation, driving greater success as we work together more effectively to empower women and girls.
Here are some tips for identifying your members' strengths:

Foster an Open Enviroment
In a previous post, we highlighted the importance of building strong relationships with members. When mutual trust and respect are established, individuals feel comfortable sharing more about themselves. This openness is key to truly understanding someone and uncovering their strengths.
Ask!
Whether through one-on-one conversations or group meetings, ask members about their experiences, skills, passions and motivations. Keep their responses in mind for when opportunities arise. Encourage members to share and celebrate each other’s strengths, as they may discover qualities in others that have previously gone unrecognized.

Provide Opportunities
Give others the opportunity to shine. Often, we don't realize our full potential until we take on a challenge. Everyone deserves the chance to showcase their skills, even if it's their first time tackling a new task. Offer encouragement, provide support and seek out opportunities that allow both them and you to discover and strengthen their unique abilities.
When we recognize and celebrate these strengths, we empower individuals and strengthen our collective ability to support and uplift women and girls!
