Happy International Women’s Day!

Today, on International Women’s Day, we unite to honor the incredible courage and resilience of women and girls across the globe. This day is not just a celebration of progress; it’s a powerful call to action—a reminder of the vital work still needed to create a future where every woman and girl can truly thrive.

As chair of the SIA Fundraising Council, I am inspired by the profound transformations our programs bring to lives like Daryn’s. After facing the unimaginable as a domestic abuse survivor, Daryn found her strength with help from our Live Your Dream Awards. Today, she is helping fellow survivors and creating a more compassionate justice system. Her inspiring work as a speaker has reached community organizations and law enforcement training, focusing on understanding trauma, fostering healing, and empowering others. Daryn’s journey is a testament to how our efforts as Soroptimists can transcend individual lives and spark broader change.

Your Support Can Double the Impact!

Right now, every donation will be matched up to $5,000 thanks to a generous contribution from Janet E. of Camino Real Region. This means your gift will have double the impact, helping us reach even more women and girls in need!

Whether it’s helping a woman finish her degree or giving girls confidence to go after their career goals, our efforts change lives. Every dollar you give lets us reach more women and girls in our communities and beyond.

This International Women’s Day, I invite you to become a part of this transformative journey. Your support will help women and girls break through barriers and achieve their dreams, creating a ripple effect of hope and empowerment.

Let’s honor Daryn’s journey by ensuring that even more women and girls have the chance to achieve their dreams!

Thank you for standing with us. Your belief in their strength and your commitment to our mission make this work possible.

Happy International Women’s Day to all!

In Soroptimist friendship,

Wanda Price, Ph.D.

Chair, SIA Fundraising Council
