I believe in the magic of holiday miracles, and this year has truly exceeded my expectations. I am deeply inspired to be part of this year’s largest matching gift campaign. We did it, thanks to you! Your generosity and the additional $11,000 from our matching partners have exceeded our goal.
Imagine the holiday joy we can create together as we give above and beyond our $25,000 goal—holiday joy for women like Tammy, a mother of four who survived years in an abusive marriage. When she finally escaped, Tammy struggled to provide for her kids and reclaim her self-worth. It wasn't until she received a Live Your Dream Award that her life took a turn. With Soroptimist's help, Tammy was able to finish her education, get a good job, and make a better life for herself and her sons. These are the miracles you and I help create.
I am delighted to share that today, Tammy Bengtson is a proud member of SI/Oakdale, CA (Sierra Pacific Region). As a monthly donor and her club's Live Your Dream Awards chair, Tammy exemplifies the spirit of giving back. She truly is a shining example of the ripple effect of your generosity, inspiring all of us! By supporting women like Tammy, Soroptimists don’t change just one life—we empower families, communities and future generations.
